In short, not really. However, I used to achieve a looping effect by setting my delay time to the length of the chord progression (usually around 4 or 5 seconds) and alternating between playing the chord progression and a lead. Obviously, this won't work for loops longer than 5 seconds, the max delay time of the G1X.
@vixtork Well, sort of. It does loop, but it only has 5 seconds of sampling and it uses the delay slot, which is a major drawback, hence my use of the RC-2. Assuming you're looking at the GT-10 as an alternative to the G9.2tt, in my opinion, the ONLY thing that the Boss does better than the Zoom is the loop function. I have used both pedals, and in my opinion, the Zoom's distortions, effects and user interface blow Boss' out of the water.
can i loop with zoom G1X ?
