@KiddoMonroe84 We were initially just trying to show how nonstop the day of a single parent is to try and dispel the myth that single parents are lazy and scrounge of the government.I think the music was chosen to emphasis the different aspects of the day, getting up, getting breakfast, getting to school, getting home, getting kids washed, getting dinner, getting bills sorted etc, but we added humour because as 808Anela says, you gotta laugh, otherwise we may end up in a heap on the floor!

wow ill have to agree with below comment by mbshus watching this clip def made me smile too.lol im a single mom to 3 kids under the age of 5 ..twin girls 4yrs and my son thats 3..its hard work and you def get no rest at all ..people say you get to rest at night time when they are asleep .oh gosh if only they knew ..i think ive forgotten the meaning to the word REST and SLEEP whats that again ? lol but much love to the single mom and dads out there ..chin up and do the best you can ..

Yes! And I'm glad you made it comical! One of the few times I've been able to smile today! I'm a single parent of a 9 and 4 year old. My kids are home schooled, which is a full-time job in itself. I have no one near to help watch the kids, so I get my break at night when I close the door and break down, collapsing from exhaustion about midnight. If I work on my script, it's usually closer to 3 a.m. Every day is a new trial and a new fear-- but we make it!

Wow I can totally relate to this.

I'm 14, my dad upped and left when I was 3 and my mum is working so hard for me, trying to get me a good education, god bless her.

Sometimes I look at other people having a kick about with their dads and wonder what it's like to call someone dad. I don't tell my mum because I don't want to hurt her feelings.

To all the single-parent kids out there, don't give up and prove that whoever left made a mistake by studying.

@mybrnskn Yeah, I could relate to this Vid too, but what really pisses me off is that every time anything is on about single parents, whether its on the radio or T.V they only ever mention single mums!! I have been a full time single dad for over 4 years now, Single dads never get a mention. Nice video though.
