..here is the explaination for the lyrics.Robbie is a huge Elvis fan,as i am,he knows lots about elvis.When robbie is referring to the gates it means Elvis welcomed Marlon at the gates of heaven.Marlon died july 1st 2004,Elvis died aug 16th 1977.Elvis was a huge Marlon Brando fan,he listed Marlo as one of his fav actors.Elvis went to the whitehouse to met Nixion in 1970,Nixion gave Elvis a badge,that was during the vietnam war,shortly after that Watergate occured.
