@Ionlyfearphobophobia Sometimes with winner can win with as little as 25% of the vote. In most cases, 93% predicted at the last election, the person who won under FPTP would still win under AV, so most of the time the person with the most, but not necessarily a majority votes, will go on to win, the only way this would have changed in those 7% of seats would be because a MAJORITY of the constituents actively don't want that person.

@ajuk1 "Sometimes with winner can win with as little as 25%" So, what does that tell you? If people cant decided on what goverment they want, what does that say? Is it the voting system? No! Its the goverment and the option of political parties that's the problem. The problem isn't FPTP, it's the lack of representation.
