  • Well I think it's warranted. She WAS immersed in a lot of English influence for quite a fair bit of time and if you listen carefully, it's like a half American half English accent. It's like her accent is phasing out or something.

  • @Tique07 I speak 5 languages, and lived in 7 countries! And I have observed that it is VERY common to many people to get accents mixed up when living in a foreign country for a certain period of time. Especially in London! I lived there for a month and began to catch myself putting an emphasis on the letter "O" a lot more than I used to. It was not intentional. Some people just have a given talent to absorb pronounsuations naturally. Those are the same people who learn languages faster.

  • @CrazyForNYCLights she is from Bay City Michigan. She went to high school in Rochester, just north of Detroit. I know because my English teacher taught her there.

  • @CrazyForNYCLights Madonna was born and raised in a split level in Bay City Michigan and moved to NY when she was 19 and worked at a doughnut shop !
