bill lawrence p46&j45 pickups

I upgrade my MIJ history th-pj bass with bill lawrence p46 and j45 pickups. I've read some good comments about bill's pickup.....very quiet.....but still not my love....maybe i should try some other brand....

I just replaced my Bart 8S & 59J1 with this Wilde/Lawrence set. I like the fact that the sound is more organic than the Barts were. When you demo the slap style with both pups your J Bass was fantastic sounding.

Thanks for the video. Bill Lawrence (now "Wilde") pickups get good reviews across the net. I was going to put a P-46 in my 5 string P-bass project that never materialized. What kind of sound are you looking for? There are tons of choices, from the high output and modern Dimarzio DP-127 to the more vintage offerings by Fralin (expensive) and Fender (not as expensive).
