Was SUCH A GREAT SHOW! I loved it, I own both seasons on Dvd and am currently re watching them for like the millionth time!

The reason they canceled the show is obvious: POOR writing. The writers could never get beyond their insipid drivel that always ended up with "God" giving Joan some Fortune Cookie wisdom that almost any decent uncle or aunt could beat. In other words, big deal. of course people tuned out. Who cares about a God like that, whether or not he exists?? Poor writing & and show got what it deserved.

Why did they cancel the show??!!! I watched every episode wen it was on. where i am we're only half way thru the 2nd series but they should carry on making them, or at least, as someone else had commented, make them for dvd box sets for us who loved it 2 buy and carry on wath the story.

hmm....you know how firefly got cancelled and then made a movie, it would be cool for joan of arcadia to do that, i would definitely watch it
