  • I heard Sam Raimi made this movie because he wasn't able to secure the rights to adapt either The Shadow and Batman. Though on a tangent, I find it a pity he wasn't able to direct Batman 3 (following Burton's departure after Returns); looking at Darkman, he could've made a great story with Two Face.

And we all can recall what a disappointment it was that Forever didn't even bother to show Two Face's origins save for a shoddy news clip.

  • @RavnDream I have heard that as well. I have only seen Batman Forever once (And that was when it was still in theaters). That was enough for me so I don't remember much about it.

  • What did y'all think of the other two that came out. Thoughtthey were good (enough) cause it give Payton more of the "I still want to continue my research" aspect but also gave him more of the "I need to do good" aspect. Plus I also liked the guy from the first two mummy movies (with Brendon) playing Payton. Thought that there were differences like Liam had more of the 'superhero' part and the other guy had more of the scienist par of Payton.

  • @samus7321 I will have a review of Darkman 2 online soon. I haven't seen the third one in a LONG time...but I remember liking it about as much as the second one.

  • @mediaassault Yeah I agree. The first onewas great and the second two that fallowed were about the same in the sense of how they were done.

  • @MovieMan9991 Thank you. Glad you liked both of them!
