One of the best live bands I ever saw in a bar during the 80's.
They were like Frank Zappa meets the Exploited meets the Specials.
Amazing band!
Filmed at a club called Bullwinkles.
Soundboard audio feed.

@essesin What musician in LA didn't play with Zappa? His band was a revolving door. But yeah, this is not what I expected from this band, having heard about them in LA when I was 15 and only hearing them now for the first time. Gotta admit the message and the musicianship is quite excellent. I find the punk style and name to be a little bit disingenuous, however.

The guy playing fiddle Don "Sugarcane" Harris was a member of the duo Don and Dewey. They wrote "You lost that Loving feeling and the Jolly Green Giant jingle. I have been listening to stories about these guys from Tony Cahill who put out their stuff on his Selma Records label for years. Great to see them in action. The sax player played with Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. They were definitely ahead of their time.

Saw these guys several times at The Mason Jar in Phoenix. Loved the LA jazz/punk/reggae fusion. A lot of great music was inspired by them and similar bands. Good times!
