A montage of our son over the past 5 years. Luke was born with esophageal atresia and duodenal atresia. He also happens to have Down syndrome. We are very proud of him and honored to be his parents. We chose 2 songs on our Signing Time CD's "The Good" and "Shine" to use with our montage as they fit very well.

My son was also born with EA,but we were not lucky to have him back in life after his first surgery !! But I believe god will give him back o us again ....

  • Lovely Video, thanks for sharing.

My eldest child also had Duodenal Atresia, he was operated on at 2days old At Yorkhill Childrens Hospital in Glasgow.

His abnormality was not detected until after his birth as it was not detected in the ultrasounds.

I have since gone on to have 3 more children and been monitered closely throughout each pregnancy.

Your son is just beautiful with such a stunning smile. xx

  • i had duodenal atresia as a baby as well. i'm just turning 13 in august of 2009. i'm positive it's something he'll grow out of if treated properly. i hope your child has a nice, and healthy future

  • i had an esophageal atresia too. i´m 13 now and i´m sure that luke can grow old with it. have you ever heard of KEKS e.v. ?? it´s a german "club" who helps the parents of children with esophageal atresia. i hope i could help you.
