Nintendo has owned the Mariners for nearly two decades. In that time, the team has had 5 Hall of Famers (Griffey, Edgar, A-Rod, Randy, Ichiro), 1 Hall of Fame Manager (Piniella), and 1 potential Hall of Famer in the making (King Felix). The result of all of that is no World Series appearances and an overall win/loss record of .500.
Change is needed and necessary. The fans are not satisfied with token firings of managers, general managers and others as sacrifices for mismanagement. We are grateful to Nintendo and its leadership for saving baseball in Seattle. But it is time to do the right thing and step aside to an ownership group that knows how to bring a World Series to a city. No other individual should have to lose their job until the real problem is fixed.

This is a fantastic video. Hopefully other people will watch and see just how badly Nintendo needs to let go.
