The French nuclear watchdog CRIIRAD, a civic sector organization and a non-profit, non-governmental organization, monitors the radiation levels of transport trucks carrying nuclear waste up and down French highways, and finds matter for public concern, including radiation levels 100 times higher than normal in the immediate vicinity of a trailer truck carrying Cobalt-60.
