Israeli forces raided six ships carrying pro-Palestinian activists and humanitarian supplies intended for the besieged Gaza Strip in the predawn hours on Monday morning, killings dozens of passengers, wounding more and sparking an international incident that could incite not only a widespread backlash against Israel, but a third intifada in Palestine.
