@ChainsawCarvingUK we fall the dead trees (snags) because they are a danger to ourselves and the yarding crew.

Take a look at some of the aerial surveys of Canada's coastal islands and you see thousands of square miles of deforestation. Hilltops and valleys look like gravel pits. The rain washes the topsoil down. This has got to stop. Fallers, you need to find another way to make a living.
