Sharon & Brad 1-29-09

Brad opens up to Sharon and lays his love for her on the line. Sharon is unwavering in her conviction that Nick is the love of her life. Later, knowing there is nothing else he can say, Brad explains to Sharon that he will always love her and leaves the cabin and into a snow storm. As Brad is driving home, he reminisces about the night he spent with Sharon in New York but he is interrupted when his car breaks down in the snow.

If Brad and Sharon had gotten together I think Brad would have worshiped her. Brad would have made her the number one priority in his life. He definitely would not have been okay with the friendship Nick and Sharon had. He definitely would have let Nick know that Sharon was his wife and would not need him. Brad definitely would not have been okay with Nick coming over whenever he wanted or hugging on Sharon all the time.

Y&R made a HUGE mistake in coupling Sharon with Jack. I never bought that relationship, Jack's too old for her. He was Nick's dad when Nick was a child! After Brad divorced Victoria, he should have gotten together with Sharon. They have such a great chemistry, and they could have made a super couple like Nick and Sharon was.

There are 2 couple the writers missed in my opinion it's Mac/Kevin and Sharon/Brad

Plus, the last couple of years, Brad has only had lousy wandering around storylines, which is probably why he's being let go now. Had they coupled Brad and Sharon instead, I think they've could have some really great storylines! I would buy Brad as a serious love interest for Sharon. And I would buy Sharon as "the one" for Brad, even a womanizer can settle down.

I think that's just her realization, but I dont think Nick is the only guy for her, he should be so lucky. But because of her feelings right now, she has to respectfully back off other men and not give them false hope. IMO other characters would benefit from taking a little time away to sort out their feelings (im looking at u nick newman!)
