Star voter appeal

Star footballers have been recruited by the European Parliament in its campaign to encourage people to use their votes in the upcoming election.

A series of spots includes David Villa, Christian Chivu, Luis Figo and the Schleck brothers -- oh yes, cyclists too.

Just days away from the start of voting, they say why they're going to vote... For one it was: "To get involved in the decisions that will influence our future."

From Luxembourg or Dutch, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese... There is also a Czech-Slovak supermodel, a Polish rocker and Belgian hit singer Kate Ryan, urging Europeans to use their voice and vote.
