When it says a blind faith in god it is talking about Jihads, not cathollics. The reason for this is because in the original documents of their holy book, murder is not right. Jihads kill, thats what they stand for. Jihad translated means martyr. It's oxymoronic. Before you rant and rave, do research. thanks

Ok before this gets into a huge political discussion, I'm ending this now. BUT, the point of this song, and slide show, is for people to realize there are two sides to everything. Society, war, and government, if you choose to ignore it, thats up to you, but ignorance is not always bliss.

or, unlike what right wing conspiracy thinks, there are people, like me, who do the research. I don't watch cnn, let alone more than maybe 30 mins of tv a day. No what I do is do the research. I agree green day are idiots, they don't know what they are talking about. It's not about getting a brain, obviously we all have one, its about expanding it, and being open to an issue that you may not want to see, so sorry if it offended you, but open your own eyes and look at the world around you.

I love this song and I agree with most of their views. To those offended by this song, I think of the quote from the great philosopher, mike Muir, of Suicidal Tendencies  said " If your offended, Maybe you need to be offended." You need to be told your wrong on those beliefs, because your too brainwashed, to see the real truth of the world.

I never said that. I'm just saying that it's a myth that everything in North America was all fine and dandy until white people came along. Most Indian tribes didn't sit around smoking a peace pipe all day. They fought with and slaughtered each other. Meanwhile Europe was building machines and inventing new things. Y'know, actually working to improve the quality of life.

You haven't anger me one bit, man. I'm not religious in the slightest. I'm actually pretty disgusted in the state of religiosity here in America and worldwide. We have far too many people who hold their religious texts to be the inerrant "word of god". It divides the masses and we all know the old saying united we stand, divided we fall.

Don't take my criticisms too seriously but DO try to remember that religious dogma is, and always has been, the bane of mankind.

So, are you implying that our current occupation of Iraq has nothing to do with the actions of religious ideology of extremist religious zealots? Whether thats the true nature of the beast is irrelevant. The precept for the war in Iraq was sold as a reaction to religious zealots, not for politics or oil.
