  • Please do not let actors reflex on complex topics like history: As countries like France, Germany, Scotland, Denmark and even Italy were nations centuries before the Hundred Years War! Walther von der Vogelweide, a German minstrel, praised Germany in the 13th century a way a it was praised 600 years later in the national anthem, while Gregory of Tours spoke in the 6th century of the Franks pretty much as later was spoken of France and the French.

  • I haven't seen him in anything at all but heard he may be the new Dr - hence my viewing of this vid. From what I can see, I think he would make an excellent Dr - he appears to have a great commanding voice, presence and intelligence. Whether or not my 7 year old daughter will watch I can't say - she is devested to be losing David Tennant and for her, he will always be her special Doctor. But good luck to those who follow. :)

  • I really hope he is the next Dr Who.

  • interesting, saw the play - it was great, esp for a tenner
