Helix - Arabian Sky - Hard (Wiiware)

This is a gameplay video of our upcoming game, Helix.

The song being played is Arabian Sky by Synthetic Man on Hard Difficulty.

Our game will be played using two Wii Remotes. The player watches the movements of the robot and performs the moves when the move bar at the top of the screen reaches the vertical bar at the middle.

Easy mode is certaintly where to start on with this game. Hope it's not more then ten bucks. I could see spending eight. Wonder what the wiiware trailer will look on the Nintendo channel. It needs to be advertised right to convey what you are buying it for.

my understanding is that the robot is showing you the UPCOMING move, not what your doing. you have to do what the robot does after he does it, in time with the bars above.

This is one of my favorite songs on Helix. This game is even good for the over 40 crowd,like me!

It does for some songs, like Destination Sunshine (the TTFATF of Helix, mind you). The movements are supposed to match the music when YOU do them, not the robot.

The music doesn't match with the movements. This is what makes this kind of games fun.

But it is a good workout though.

You have a point there. I think if you practice alot, you'll get the hang of it. Music games can be hard at times when you first play it, but as soon as you keep playing, you'll get it.

I really want this game. Maybe Helix 2 will solve some issues that people will have, and maybe add an online mode or something. I think Helix2 should be released in retail stores, just cause the disc format can hold alot of content, and maybe Ghostfire will look into this. I'll be sure to download this game ^^

I'm worried about the hand movements. It's glad that the robot shows them to you, but in my opinion, he does it too early. I could easily forget what I'm suppose to do if I see a prompt while I'm in the middle of the current movement.
