@stumpafuh That sounds exactly like my parents. I am not complaining, because my parents love me tons. But, after being grown up and seeing how some other family operates, what kind of relationship other parents have with their children, I do envy them a lot. Aside from taking care of the grades and discipline, I do wish that my parents were more involved in my life, sit down and talk about what happened in school today, get to know my friends (atleast know their names and character).

Here's my ideas on chores coming from a father. When you make a mess, you clean it up. If you want something done, you get it done. As long as you maintain a 3.0 in my house you can go outside, play video games, I don't care what my kids do as long as it isn't illegal. I trust them and I don't force too much pressure on them. I let them be free spirits and don't make them choose their clothes or appearance. Thumbs up if you agree with me!
