Minibot Wars: Eliminator Tournament - The Final

Minibot Wars is a spin-off from the TV show Robot Wars that ran from 1997-2003. Minibot Wars uses the robots and arena from the Robot Wars: Minibots series, produced by Logistix Kids Retail. Tournaments are recorded in stop-motion format using a Nikon Coolpix L19 camera.

Competitors: Firestorm vs Dominator vs Hypno-Disc vs Razer vs Tornado

The five winners of the five Heats faced off in The Final of the Eliminator Tournament. Dominator immediately pinned Tornado with its axe, whilst Razer gripped its crushing claw onto the front of Firestorm, and sent it into Dead Metal's CPZ. Tornado freed itself from Dominator and charged into the middle pillar on the arena side wall to open The Pit.

Razer had Dominator trapped in its claw, but released after an axe blow from Dominator. Tornado managed to turn Hypno-Disc on its side with its spinning disc, whilst Firestorm flipped Razer onto its side. Hypno-Disc was suffering damage from Dead Metal's pincers and circular saw in the CPZ, whilst Tornado's slightly greater brute force managed to press Dominator against the North Wall, despite suffering an axe blow.

Tornado then hit Sgt Bash into the arena side wall, then charged at Firestorm, who flipped Tornado on its side. Dead Metal continued to assault Hypno-Disc, whilst Dominator took a strike with its axe on an immobilised Razer, whilst Firestorm toppled Tornado into The Pit. Dead Metal put Hypno-Disc on the Floor Flipper, but the flip self righted Hypno-Disc, who hadn't been counted out during its assault from Dead Metal.

Hypno-Disc hit a couple of hard blows on Firestorm with its spinning disc, but the impact of the second blow sent Hypno-Disc falling into the pit. Dominator striked Firestorm with its axe, and pushed it into an empty CPZ, only to be seperated by Refbot. Dominator pinned Firestorm with its axe and pushed it into Dead Metal's CPZ, but Firestorm escaped by flipping Dead Metal over.

Firestorm charged at Dominator, but couldn't get underneath, and suffered another blow from Dominator's axe. Firestorm then managed to be able to push Dominator from its side, and headed towards the pit, but Dominator managed to move out the way just in time. Dominator then turned around, hit Firestorm with its axe, and managed to pin and pull it into the pit, to become the first champion in Minibot Wars.

Winner: Dominator

I watched this expecting to be disappointed by some 8 year old kid pushing robots into each other shouting 'bang!' in really really annoying voices... But fair play to ya, Mustta taken forever to do but its done really well! And im usually one of the people who bitches on youtube videos =P

@Framptonrules Thanks for the compliment, I also can't stand the 'hands-on' videos and poor commentary either. This Eliminator Series is a little rushed, it's only around 6-8 f/s; I'd say 1 second of footage takes about 1 minute, so I must have spent near to an hour recording this one.

@MelooshGames I exploited several Chinese workers from a small village into slavery, and had them build miniature version of Robot Wars. After two months of hard work in poor conditions, the Minibots were complete, and I let the several Chinese workers return to their families, though they had to pay their own bus fare.
