@ShinobiGarth Both games take place in FFG's Terrinoth, along with Runewars, Runeage, and the remake of DungeonQuest.

they reused a lot of graphics and characters from Descent, like Red Scorpion. do both games happen in the same universe or was FFG just lazy?

Runebound is the most easy to learn and intelligent boardgame I have ever played. The variation is ETERNAL and you actually have to be quite good to win!
