Disclaimer: This video response is in no way intended as a personal attack against the maker of the original "Synthpop is Dead" video. On the contrary, I found that video very amusing -- even if I disagree with its central message. As for whose case my own effort ends up supporting, well... I'll let you be the judge of that!

As an eighties teen who spent a couple of decades in musical mourning thereafter, it's great to see such quirky pride ;-) in the musical sophistication that electronic music has always afforded and amazing just how much crap has been slung at the genre by the likes of upstart Indy rock fans.

Just starting to catch-up and look around at what's happening these days...any leads to 'must check-out' musicians not listed among my handful of vids favourite'd would be much appreciated...
