@wezzzlyc I could *not* disagree more....I've been working at Goodwill Industries for over 5 years, at our Goodwill (San Diego County) overall, you would be hard pressed to find better people to work with or around...yes, as in any job, you're going to have your bad apples, and usually our Goodwill, nips them right in the bud, but occasionally, as in any business, they miss one or two.

@wezzzlyc I work for Goodwill Industries, and have found the individuals here to be sound, and very compassionate to the needs of the unemployed or otherwise unemployable due to "whatever" life has thrown at them! In any organization there are those whose prime objective is to abuse what authority is granted them, a few bad apples in no way tips the cart. An enlightened view is better hiring practices so that abusers are removed! Goodwill Industries gives self-esteem and pride.

Goodwill Industries employ physically and/or mentally challenged/disabled people in an effort to make their company appear compassionate toward the public and those who face the aforementioned challenges on a daily and/or life-long basis. In essence, I am quite secure in the opinion that the management of "GoodWill" Industries abuse their position and/or authority in an effort to harass and belittle these employees. DO NOT DONATE, WORK FOR, OR IN ANY WAY- CONTRIBUTE TO ANY GOODWILL ..

I should add that we're handing out this money in the Metro Detroit area.

It's good to see more of these events happening in Detroit. We need it! We're contributing in our own way by handing out $100 to 100 randomly-selected people over a period of 100 days. Check out our videos to see the recipients' reactions.
