In referrence to the negative comments about cloning;
It never ceases to amaze me how people project their fears onto anything they do not understand. The benefits of this research far outweigh any negative connotations on ethical issues that stem from religious beliefs and personal insecurities. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could clone a new heart, liver,lungs or pancreas when yours crapped out? From your own DNA?

@sk8ergirl3784 its gotta be alive i think.. or atleast not completely decomposed. and more than likely, since the clone grows so fast, it will be mentally disabled and not live very long.

@sk8ergirl3784 Human cloning is not commonly publicized; it is regarded as unethical because of the past mammals clones had some diseases and died too soon. The theory is possible but the practical work is not, yet.
The idea of human clones being brought up, and then killed for their organs, like in "The Island" is a mssive misconception and therefore an irrelevant point in the ethical questions of cloning research.
The fact of the matter is that you don't need to clone the entire human being for it's liver or heart etc. It is very possible to engineer it so that only the liver or heart is grown in the lab, removing the question of cloned humans rights, as it is just a cloned organ, not a human.
