@EdmacZ What's wrong with the VA of MHX? The characters have personality, the corn levels are low, and there's nothing cringe-inducing about it. Now go back to X4 with WHATAMIFIGHTINGFOOOOORRRRRRR?!­?!?!?!?!!? and prepubescent girl X, sweet jesus almighty.

And be careful about falling into the "Back in MY days, everything was rose-tinted" trap. Dismissing things because they came after your golden days is pretty silly.

I know right? Not only that, it totally needed bad voice acting as well.

Sarcasm aside, no 3D upgrade can beat good old fashioned well-done sprite work. 8 and 16-bit sprites age like fine wine. While 3D visual styles don't age well. There are so many 3D games I know that looked awesome in their time but look really dated today.
