@ningagingaproducts I miss the 70's too. Better music, better everything, and none of politically correct BS that we have now.

Last month I saw a little girl ALMOST fall into the gap between the platform and the train at the Union Square station. Her whole leg fell in but luckily the rest of her didn't follow.

To Wisconsin farm kid:
Yes, the cars can be packed tight as sardine cans, and tighter, at rush hour. Nothing like having some stranger's face jammed into the hollow of your neck at 8:30am. =)
Rampant crime? Nah. People have a very outdated image of NYC's crime rate. Crime has gone down almost 75% in the last 20 years. Of course there's still crime, but nothing like how it used to be.
Noise? Well, we're used to it, but a country person might need some adjustment time. X)

I wish people would sing and dance in the subway today, how cool would that actually be?

@ningagingaproducts Not in NYC though, hehe.
Man, remember when Sesame Street was all grimy and inner-city? I miss those days. It's too squeaky-clean and upper-middle class now. Sigh.

this was before my time (I'm a 90s kid) but this is ridiculously catchy! And so real...like, the kid in the beginning being like, "Watch it lady!" and then "Yeah, okay Grandma,"
