Well, I have to say that I am addicted to peanut butter and Thank God I have never sufferred Salmonella. As some of the people that have replied I think this problem has to do with a poor quality of some brands and that's why other brands just don't have any complain from consumers. However, for those physicians interested in deepen their knowledge about Salmonella they can visit Symposier site and watch detailed videos about it, its signs and symptoms.

Hello,
Yes, I think there is some animal product which they use to create peanut butter, since the back label says there is saturated fat in the product. Saturated fat only comes from animal products. Otherwise, it does not make sense. I have crushed peanuts at home and they become powdery. So the oil does not come from the peanuts.

The outbreak causing the recall is from Salmonella Typhi.
It is transmitted by the fecal-oral route—it is excreted by humans in feces.
This means someone at the peanut butter factory is taking huge dumps in the peanut butter.

Blaming china for its bad products now eh? when you point your finger at someone, there's always 4 more pointing back at you. let this be a lesson to everyone, that being hypocritical is in all of us.
