QB always knew he wanted to sing country and western songs and have been writing songs for a very long time, but was never adamant about it until after being injured in Iraq and returning to Fort Dix, New Jersey where he would visit the 38 Western Bar every Wednesday while on pass. There at the 38 he would sing karaoke and receive many standing ovations.
As a little boy at the age of 7, QB started showing his interest after learning about his Cherokee heritage which he started dressing and living the life of a cowboy. During his teen years, he would find jobs at stables in New York State where he took care of horses and livestock and at the rodeos he would do bull-dogging and calf roping. At the end of each shift while taking the New York City public transportation home, QB would have to answer questions such as: Why are you dressed like that, why do you where boots and hat? And he would reply, "I am a cowboy".
QB and his long-time partner Denise Samuel, got with Range Recording Studios Bryn Mawr, PA during 2008 where they put together 3 of my songs for a demo, singing about country, cowboys, and life. The song titles are: YOU CAN BE A COWBOY, TIME, and SOMEBODY ELSE which you find on the Music tab.
