Was 100 overweight so I got stuck in 6800 lb Open, pulled against 3 other heavily modified pull trucks. I pulled 218 ft which was farther than I thought I would. By the way, the old truck has 250,000 miles.

  • so you guys are saying this is a pretty good pull? i have a 99 250 5.4 reg cab long bed 4" lift and 35s and been checkin out pulls at my local town fairs and thought about maybe enterin my pick up. Theiele79, is your truck semi stock or? did you have to set the truck up differntly from the road to the the pull yard? thanks man just lookin to educate myself a little more on this.

  • This is completely stock truck, drove in off the street. I was 100 pounds to heavy for a stock run so they put me in where anything around 6800 lbs can run. I ran against 5 trucks built just for this and got 4th so I think I did ok. Just put her in 4 low and punch it. :)

  • nice pull were is this located?

  • wright county, mn thanks.

  • try swaping out your 5.4 for a 6 cylinder, 300 cubic inch engine, the pistons are alot bigger and it puts out some great torque, mabe hook up anouther transfer case to the existing one, itll give you a high and very very low range of gears

  • Are you cracked? If you don't what your talking about, keep your thoughts to yourself.
