How to paint car headers

Steps:

Step 1: Take off the headers and remove o2's if you have them

Step 2: Sand the headers

Step 3: Clean them with alcohol

Step 4: Spray a "light" coat of paint

Step 5: Wait 30 minutes

Step 6: Spray a second coat

Step 7: Wait 30 minutes

Step 8: Add the third and final coat

Step 9: Wait 1-2 hours

Step 10: Put the headers back on the car if you are baking them on the car

Step 11: Follow the direction on the can to 'bake' the headers. I did mine on the car so the directions: Run your car at idle for 10 mins, turn it off and let cool for 20, then run at idle for 20 then cool for 20 then drive for 30 mins

you need to cure them. i bet you $500 they look like sh!t in a year. did the same thing hoping it would work. Oven didnt fit so i tired bake em internally. it doesnt work.

I'm not a big of riced out Honda. This car is tastefully done. Nice clean engine bay. Front grill does not have a cow catcher. I just pray it does not have a fart can muffler and a whale tail.
