Dr. Imamoto, DVM in Japan recounts his view of what really happened wtihin the 20km no go zone. He tells of frustrations with the JPN government agencies not listening to repeated requests by vets to enter the zone and help the animals still alive. At the beginning there were many animals including horses which are believed to be sacred. After many pleas and meetings Imamoto and other volunteers on a rescue mission are able to rescue many horses. Imamoto reminds us that this was just a small victory because many animals remain behind that need medical care. He tells us that many animals survive because volunteer rescue people continue their efforts to bring animals out of the zone.
This video takes place early in the Fukushima disaster in mid April.
