Datsyuk Game 4 Goal Waived Off

A 2nd period goal by Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk in Game 4 of the 2008 Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Stars was waived off by NHL referee Kelly Sutherland. He claimed that Detroit Red Wings forward, Tomas Holmstrom, had his butt in the crease and interfered with Dallas goalie Marty Turco. Video provided by i0umag. @markuskentwood i will agree in most situations it is hard to see everything. thats why theres 2 refs and 2 linesman on the ice for nhl. now in youth and stuff with 2 its crazy hard t o see everything. But where reffing sucks in general is when the non calls right if infront of them they dont call. Where traditionally everyone hates refs

bad call. but until you ref a game, you have no clue how hard reffing is. it is IMPOSSIBLE to call a perfect game and it's EASY to screw up calls or non-calls. get over it. until you can invent a new system they try to test out every year, then this is what we get.

@DeFuzin that Holmstrom was standing in the crease, therefore goaltender interference. but he was clearly not
