All of the Bible was presumably important to those who selected its books. But the Bible is huge! What if we could accurately summarize its contents in a few words? Might allow us to see the forest, rather than all the trees. Here are attempts to summarize Scriptures, by Jesus, Moses, and Hillel (and compatible Pagans). How would you summarize the Bible? Please comment or VR. Thanks for watching
Art: By Simeon Solomon (0:20- Dawn; 6:08 Mystery of Faith)
By HS Tuke (1:31 Noonday Heat; 7:08 July Sun; 8:15 Youth in White Trousers)
By Rembrandt (2:35 Moses)
By Girodet (3:33 Effet de Lune Endymion)
By Holbein (4:13 and 8:28 Erasmus)
Rest by me (copyright JDML 2005-10)
Music: Beethoven muted (sigh). Thought maybe some Hebrew blessings might interest you, since most of the Bible was written in Hebrew. The songs (Children's Village, Jerusalem) are:
0:12 menukha v'simcha
2:21 eishat chayil ('strong woman')
4:24 Genesis 2:1-2 + Shabbat blessings
7:41 angel evocation

  • God is truth

  • @1kookoonut Thanks very much for watching and commenting. Great channel name you have! Blessings to YOU- J

  • I like your thoughts. (My head would bust with all the info you hold in your brain..lol.)

In my experience when the essence of truth touches the earth, immediately it will be surrounded by thoughtforms of the dark. Like black and white sitting right next to each other.

I read a sentence once: You don't have to love your neighbour, it's good enough if you don't hate him.

    I like that....

  • Thanks for your comments and for watching, Kerstin! Well, as soon as I put info in a vid I promptly forget it, to make room for more lol Actually, my top concern is how to facilitate transformation. Trying to bridge the gap between traditional/ little known ancient mystical guidance, and new approaches. Maybe the old ones knew something that will help those who now want to change everything. Yes Ive noticed that dark effect- has been the bane of my life. Thx again :)

  • the bible is for those who do not thinkl

  • Bridging that gap is helping people to get back to the root, the essence. A very good thing. It surly helps to encourage new creation and growth. :)
