I find it interesting that he stayed. Had the producer told me to play what another drummer played note for note, I would've flat out said "Fuck you, I'm not another drummer. You want me to record? Awesome, but you need to let me flow as the drummer I've trained myself to be."

I have a feeling he's Mexican, going by the Primus live track where Les introduces him as, amongst other adjectives, the 'pseudo-Mexican'. This might actually mean he's not Mexican. Oops. Might be half Mexican half American?

I like listening to Brain talk almost as much as I like listening to him drum. He's an unpretentious genius and gives great insight to his craft.
