  • Last comment; sorry, looks like I had a lot more to say than I thought.

Anyway, I also have to say, I rather like the musical score; A lot of very catchy tunes here (And I cut my musical appreciation teeth on Sondheim; take that as you will). Good luck with your work, and I hope to get to see the rest of it posted here sometime (Being in the USA and thus too far to attend in person).:)

  • Thanks for those comments. Very generous and I hope I don't disappoint you with the later parts once they're done. It's true that Russ will develop further thru the course of the second half. More on that soon-ish, I hope!

  • Not a bad production, though there were parts where I cringed (good lord, do all furs see Christians like that?). Rather glad I've actually been a bit less impulsive then this guy, or I would've had similar troubles.

Wish I could help him out though. I don't know if I could help someone like that, but it's worth trying, ain't it?

  • Oh, the Christians thing is entirely personal. The musical is in part about how constructions of the imagination can influence real life, and I suppose it was too obvious a parallel to avoid. :)

  • ...I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're saying. A parallel to what?

  • The parallel is between the imaginary world of Russ/RedFox, which is where he goes to seek refuge from the realities of adulthood and between the way Primrose seeks refuge in the fake communitarian cheer and imaginary religious figures of the Army of the Light.

  • I'd just like to say that I'm not a furry, but I enjoyed this little workshop of the musical a lot.

Great work guys, I can't wait for the finished product!

  • Awesome, brilliant singing, music and acting. I'd be scared to attempt something like this but you guys have pulled it off with style!

  • This was truly brilliant and I can find many ways to relate to this whole musical. Amazing work! :3

  • I found this amazing! Well done. Aside from the great subject that made me Lol, the Vocalists are amazing.

    Awesome.

  • The part about Christians is personal how?

  • Rouwph! very excellent story line x3

  • Amazing :3 I can't wait till there's more out

  • Loved it, to be honest I was expecting some lame-ass, happy, merry, hop through flowers crap. but you guys really pulled off a decent play that alot of furs will relate to. Bravo!

  • OK, just please tell me your going to put the rest of it on youtube? And have fun today, I hope it goes well! I can't wait to find out what happens.

  • Okay, I've finished it. Generally I like it, so I'll skip the glowing praise I think it deserves. Instead, I want to raise a cautionary flag. I feel more of an emotional resonance with the mother, but I'm viewing this from outside the furry fandom. This means that, as the story develops and completes itself, the mother may have to be the vehicle by which non-Furries can appreciate the lifestyle. She may help other people discover their fursonas. :)
