Priesthood 'leadership' is only relevant if predicated upon SERVICE. The priesthood is ordained to SERVE women- all mankind...not RULE over them. Just read the bible for references on that one. Both men and women submit to each other---when that is denied, you get feminism vs. male chauvinism...you get tyranny and the breakdown of society/civilization...oh, kind of like now!

I truly regret going down this path. The Mormon church is no less hypocritical and stupid than other organized religions. You are confusing fundamentalist mormons who separated from the original faith almost 100 years ago. They match your description, but The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints IS DIFFERENT.

That's understandable to get them confused--but nothing of the sort has EVER occurred in the faith I belong to. Anyone who continues to suggest otherwise needs to either read more into the subject from credible sources---or stop making those allegations--because it's highly offensive and erroneous.

I don't care what consenting adults do. Polygamy, polygyny or just an occasional ménage et tois. I DO object to the Mormon system of the old men in a community marrying all the young GIRLS and throwing the young men out of the community. And don't say that doesn't happen. I know some of the "lost boys" -- discarded by their Mormon poygymous communities. And I do object to the LDS church commanding women to blindly follow their husbands.
