http://www.globaltrancemission.co.uk Video made to promote my track TIME TUNNELS made with hardware synths with no sequencing. This is an interpretation of the Berlin School style like Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze. Made mainly using my own sounds on a Waldorf Micro Q and a Supernova.
This track can be downloaded from i-tunes, Amazon mp3, or CD Baby from the ASTROMEGATRON album.

  • This is a great work, simple and plain idea. I love TD or KS work and yours have truely something to do with it, not mentionning the great video morphing work that fits very well. I play some electronic music also but never post a video, caus i'm not into it. Why you say there is no sequencing, is this not a sequence or a kind of running arpeggio moving all along?

  • @markusmala

Thanks for your comments.Perhaps I need to clarify about the sequencing.

I was trying to say that I did not use a software sequencer like Cubase to make this track. You are quite right about the arpeggio.....it was made live using a hardware arpeggiator which is exactly how the original TD and Berlin School tracks were made before computers and midi were used. I just wanted to make the point that there was nothing computerised being used. Hope that answers your question.

  • Love it. How did you make the video?

  • The video is all done with G-Force from Sound Spectrum. As there is no way to extract a video from windows Media Player I used a camcorder on a tripod to film it from the VDU in a darkened room !!!

There is always a way to do these things !!!

Check out my video for Zeitgeist which is much better. I couldn't tell you how I made that because it would be too complicated but it did take a few days.

  • This is what computers think about

  • pure win

  • 's'goil^^

  • I LIKE!

  • Very cool*****

  • I can see what you are saying...I suppose there is a likeness to the Dr Who theme which is probably the first real piece of electronic music that I ever heard. I grew up with it !!

I like to think of these compositions as "audio paintings" where I provide the colours and canvas and the listener uses their imagination to fill in their own pictures.

Thanks for listening your feedback is interesting :-)
