Update to KDE 4.8.0 and it will work great! Kubuntu is much better than Ubuntu. And it really looks like an operating system for PC. Now Ubuntu looks like it's made for phones or tablets. Try something real if you're using a computer :))
for some reason kununtu runs faster then xubuntu and ubuntu.(go figure) it has always worked for me no problems. system specs: dell dimension 4600 2.7ghz 768mb ram. xubuntu takes 2-3 times longer to do anything and ubuntu just doesn't run good at all. i've been using ubuntu and it's variations for about 4 years now because i just despise windows just my preference windows is fine for anyone just not me. my overall thought of Kubuntu 11.10 is easy to use and looks beautiful. i give it 9 out of 10
I might be mistaken but I think the "cautious upgrade" option might be the same as "aptitude safe-upgrade"
"The difference between "safe-upgrade"/"upgrade" and "full-upgrade"/"dist-upgrade" only appears when new versions of packages stand in different dependency relationships from old versions of those packages. The "aptitude safe-upgrade" command does not install new packages nor remove installed packages"
then they must of fixed it "kubuntu or kde" with an update.... recently.... during the time of this video it was still an issue.... but i acknowledge it is fixed in kde 4.8

@Linux4UnMe Simple, just put a note on your video explaining latest changes on the dektop. KDE 4.7.4 is bug free about this.
