You don't give up. You can check the "domains" module and you'll find the next best domain. If everything else is great you can find a very relevant "phrase match" or "broad Match" domain.. you shouldn't have a problem finding a great "phrase match domain" and that's perfectly acceptable. If all the other criteria is in your favor then I wouldn't give up on it.

btw. I'm in no way an expert however I'm going by all the video trainings.. and it makes sense.

    Good luck!!

  • Ok, you got a good niche, I can search dozens niches in one day if I want but then...here is the problem: 99.99% of the times the domain that matches your keyword is already taken. What do you do then? Do you give up, or you take the domain anyway by adding, for example, "my" at the beginning?

  • I must be the dumbest person on earth because I still don't get how to use Market Sumari to find keywords/niche. :x

    *gone back to module 1*

  • @simonphumphries Simon did you figure this out?

  • sounds hard but if you actually do it for 5 days you will find many u won't have time to start. Pretty cool of Ed and The IE team finding new opportunities ;)

  • @simonphumphries He mentioned at the beginning to follow what Dr. Anthony taught. You should watch that video and go by what he says. This is merely a demonstration and should not give you a step-by-step guide on Market Research. The point of the video was to propose the challenge and demonstrate how easy it is.

  • Wow. 8,323 mail messages! (Although I wonder if that also includes RSS feeds?) Either way, Ed, you must be a popular (and busy) bloke! Thanks for the recap and demonstration on going through the process quickly. I think it takes so long for some people because they over think and over complicate the research!

  • Hi Ed,

This video implies that getting just 1line all green in the competition page means it's an eligible keyword. Surely that's not the message you meant to put accross, since the other 9 top sites may be highly competitive. It should be the overall spread of green in the top 10 sites that is important, not just 1, according to my understanding of it?

    Simon.

  • Hey Ed,

Using a timer is definitely a must! :)

    Great concepts as always.
