Once in a Lifetime Chapter 3 part 1

{this is kinda like the prolouge just to give you background on the characters for a couple chapters. the REAL jonas brothers concertt & stuff will happen aroun chapter 4 so don't worry =) }
Dear Computer Journal,

Today: August 24, 2008- Jonas Brothers Concert! Yep I cant wait!
8:00a.m. Wake up
11:00a.m. Lunch with Dad at Louis Bar & Grill
4:45 p.m. Caties coming over here and were going to do our hair.
5:00 p.m. Ali is arriving with the food
6:00p.m. Leaving here with Ali and Catie
7:00p.m. Concert!!

So, the concert is finally here! I remember the day when Catie called me, telling me she won tickets to see them. I was sorting through my closet and making a pile of old clothes for the homeless. She was frantic and I couldnt even understand her. Once she calmed down, said these exact words,
"Dude, I just won front row tickets and backstage passes to the Jonas Brothers concert!" I froze and dropped almost a hundred of hangers on the floor. I didnt believe her but here I am now, sitting at my laptop, writing about it. ITS CRAZY!!
So, Im dressed and its now 4:20. Were leaving my house in an hour and forty minutes When Catie gets here in 15 minutes, were going to straiten our hair and wait for Ali to get here with the McDonalds so we can eat before we go. I CANT WAIT!!! Yeah, I have to type that stupid assignment for JJC so Ill do that now. Yawn. Ok be back later. (:

Brittany, a college student at Joliet Junior College sat at her desk typing a paper on a book she was required to read during the summer. The book was And Then There Were None by Agatha Christy. She dreaded this book ever since she saw the title. She really didnt like mysteries and in this book, there were countless murders and she could care less about who killed the unsuspecting people. The paper was necessary to have one thousand words or more and had to be done by next week.
"Man, I hate this," Brittany murmered to herself as she struggled to come up with words of the plot.
Just then her phone rang, Pushing me Away, a Jonas Brothers hit song filled the quiet room.
"Hey whats-"
"Hey. Is my shirt at your house?" the nervous voice of her best friend erupted from the other end of the phone, not letting Brittany finish her sentence,
"I cant find it anywhere! We made these shirts just for the concert and now I cant find mine! Ill be all out of place, and you guys will be having a great time while Im sitting there with a boring old t-shirt!" she added.
"Relax Ali, your shirt is here," Brittany reassured her friend with a small chuckle, "Its all taken care of. Just remember to be here around 5 oclock with the McDonalds because Im-"
"Yep I know. Im going to leave soon and Im taking the highway so Ill be there in a jiffy. Alright see you soon Hun. Bye!" The other line clicked and Brittany knew that Ali had hung up. Brittany thought, Man, she really needs to started being not so energetic! Shes always talking a mile a minute and doesnt let anyone else talk!
Brittany smiled to herself and picked up a photo at three best friends taken six years ago at Caties tenth birthday party that she kept on her desk. That year, the girls were all fascinated with the color pink and all three of them were wearing sparkling pink outfits and had their hair up in pink ponytails and pink glitter all over their faces. In the picture, as Catie was blowing out the candles on her cake and little Ali, mouth wide open, was chatting away to herself. She laughed and set the picture back down. Ali was always known to get in trouble in school for talking during class.
Brittany considered to continue writing her tedious essay but shrugged it away. Instead, she ran to her walk-in closet and searched for a pair of skinny jeans and a tank top to wear under the homemade t-shirts the three girls made. After going through her entire closest, she selected a pair of tight fitting, Bullhead skinny jeans and a lime green lace camisole.
After getting dressed in the outfit, she mad her way to her desk again and checked the time on her blackberry pearl cell phone; 4:40. Catie would be here in five minutes. Brittany scurried to her private bathroom in her room and flipped on the switch. The ten florescent bulbs flickered on and brightened up the immense room. She approached the counter and turned on her two professional salon straiteners and glanced at herself in the mirror above the two identical sinks on the marble countertop.
Her wavy, dark brown hair was a mess. She looked like a frizz monster. Her chocolate brown eyes looked weary and lonesome. It had been three weeks since her boyfriend, Aaron broke up with her. He explained her that he needed time to himself. Brittany had taken this well because she also thought she could use some time alone too. But now, she was too lonely. Yesterday, she had gotten up the courage to call Aaron, to see if he missed her too. It rang three times then,
