3. Support is just SO important. I don't think I'd even be working towards my goal w/out the support I find here on YT.

The weight loss community here on YT is probably the missing link for me. Its convenient and very accessible. My success is most definitely because of this tool here. Its like the holy grail of tools really. Difference between forums and YT is the face to face accountability. Without it, I'm sure I would have gotten bored long ago. And the support here is like NO other.

I found the weight loss community on youtube very recently (I watched Shanti's channel to death before discovering WLL and now I am an avid watcher of both channels...yay!)...and your vid has got me thinking.

I'm into my 6th week of calorie counting and have been so tempted lately, I'm still losing a little weight but I'm losing the groove and I'm scared I'll fall off the wagon all together if I keep going the way I'm going! aargh! It's hard when your battling it all out alone in your head!

I like the scruff too Al! Great job about Community! I agree with you that Community Support is important! I have 3 other dieters and they have fallen off the wagon, so that is why I'm on WWO and YouTube, because I know even though my family stopped pushing me, i know you guys can!!!! Thanks Al!

You know, I just found the weight loss community on YouTube recently... and I have to admit that it's helped me immensely! When I'm feeling down or unmotivated, I log in and watch videos. I get tips and tricks, I get to cheer people on, and seeing someone else succeed just feeds my own desire to lose weight.

This is such an optimistic premise. Community support is extremely important. YouTube is such a great resource for support. However, the problem is many of the support groups do not support ALL individuals. Things tend to become inequitable. This is obvious by comment responses and personal attention given to respondents. I cannot speak for twitter or IMs. I am speaking of what I see here on YT. We should embrace each other, not just the select few. It is about the many, not the CHOSEN.

I go to TOPS and i fully agree.. when i dont stay for the meetings my weight will go up. Also staying involved. Meaning you get out of it what you put into it. Help others and help yourself. I think thats what we do here on YT a lot!!! GREAT Vlog today!!!

Yes, i agree that the weight loss community has made a major effect on my journey in a positive way. I need that support system or i just get bored and slowly give up.. thanx so much for being there Alejandro.

You made a great point, it is truly 24/7, there is always SOMEONE to talk to. That helps with accountability and support for sure!

I sat in on a WW meeting a few months ago, I really wasn't impressed whatsoever, I think it was the leader though not the program. Tried Jenny Craig, it WORKS, its just way too expensive. YouTube is an amazing support tool for us all to learn new things, lean on each other and share so many similar harships and issues together with the ease of the internet. Not just folks in our communities, but all over the world going through the same weight issues as us.

I like having the support. For along time I tried weight loss by myself and without motivation or support it didnt work. It seemed once I started watching videos I improved alot. Just having someone to relate to helps me out alot.

hiya.. i also believe the weight loss community is very important.. i'm a member of an english weight loss site called closer diets.. and the ppl on there keep me goin.. with all things from weight related issues to life in general.. they pick ya up when ya at ya lowest and help you back into it.. without them and also watching youtube vlogs i'd probrbly be really struggling now.. thanks every1 xxxx
