"Disco Ghetto," the new single from Jesse Malin and the St. Marks Social's latest album Love it to Life, features Weeds star Mary Louise Parker as a put-upon waitress who dreams of escaping from her misery and boredom at one of the band's shows. It's a fine complement to the song, which is all about going out dancing as a way of temporarily forgetting about the burdens of living in the middle of a recession that never seems to end.

Don't you hate it when the video is more interesting than the song?
