When I was looking for a car my friend was telling me to get a mini van because we had this band and he was sure that that would be the best thing to haul equipment in. I was like "I don't wanna be a soccer mom with a mini van". But he was driving me around to see all these caravans and astrovans. I kept telling him I wanted a Jeep. In the end I bought the Jeep because I knew if I spent a lot of money I should really like the car. I still love my Jeep. And a year later he bought a Jeep too.

I bought my 87 Lincolin Town Car for 500 bucks. Had it for 4 years with major fixing until it was unfordable to fix last year. Now I don't have a car. That was my first car with insurance included.

When I bought my Civic, I wasn't sure at first. I knew I wanted a black car -- most of the cars at the dealership or whatever weren't that good. We found the black Civic, and dad was like... it's a stick shift. I said, that's fine, i'll learn. He's like, "really?" Yep, I'll learn. So we got it, and dad drove it home. Carol taught me stick shift in an hour, and the car has taken care of me for 5 years now... and it's 1999. The car is approaching 200,000 miles now :O

@Bruje13 Old people sometimes have the oldest cars with the highest mileage >_> XD but i get what you mean. not sure where my car is coming from yet. but i plan to not come home till i have one
