By the way, your timing is awesome, especially for 17 years old (not that you deserve a break for being young!) Keep it up. You wil one day be an amazing drummmer if you stick with it. Practice and oush yourself every time you play. Intentionally go beyond your comfort zone. Make yourself screw up by trying stuff you cant do - I think that is the best way to really grow. I don't really consider a persons age with drumming, I think about how long someone has played for instead, Thanks for the tips man but I don't think i'll ever be an amazing drummer, just a good one one day.

I've seen that video before, he is one sick drummer, some people just have that passion that they put enough effort in to get that good.

Not bad at all. Still a little tight - you could flow it more. You are "on" but you still have a stiff quality to your playing. Have you tried crashing the cymbals with both hands (switching, not at the same time - though that works too...). If you could, it would allow you more of a reset to get back into the drums after a double crash instead of having to do it all with your lead hand (your left). Try it, work on it. You can do anything, just start it slow as hell and increase speed ver time.

I know what you mean, I just don't hit the crash with my right hand unless the song calls for it, like if I have to go from one crash to the other really quickly i'll use my right hand otherwise just my left does fine.
