Ashish Deshmukh of Amaravati( Maharastra) made the largest rakhi 300 X 30 feet and displayed it on 8 Septemeber 2009.The largest Rakhi is made of waste material including 16,000 Wedding card, waste clothes and waste paints .He started making it on 2nd August 2009 and finished on 8th September 2009.
