that website says you have to have to original game to play? i dunno im confused. i'll just stick with DOSbox

Sorry im a noob in PC Games i only play games on nintendo system X-BOX Sony Things and lotsa old skool things :D. But i didnt know much about PC Games! Everyone says Monkey Island is the best game ever! i wanna play it but i have a Question WHAT MAKES THIS GAME SO GREAT?!?!?!

It's one of the very first point-and-click adventures ever designed, had astonishing graphics at the time, a soundtrack that is still considered one of the most beautiful ever composed and tons of witty Monty Python-style dialogues and puzzles. That said, unless you're a very open-minded person and don't mind the good old 2d 8bit sprites, midi music and total lack of fps sessions, it'll be hard for you to fully appreciate this game. Give it a try anyway, who knows what you might think of it...

2.Wich one is the best? 1,2 or 3??

How long is it? Well, that depends on your wits, I suppose :) . Chapters 1 and 2 make up the backbone of the series and are those that better represent the MI spirit. Chapter 3 is not exactly on par with the first two gameplay-wise, but it's still excellent, and features some really cool cartoon-style graphics. I suggest you try them all, if you have the chance. It'll give you a good immersion in the MI mood.
