Demo of the functionalities provided by Spatial's Galaxy Point Cloud .NET framework.
First we load a 100,000,000 points cloud and perform some geometric selections (Points within a Cylinder, points within a Z range, nearest neighbors).
Similar operations are then performed over a 1,000,000,000 points cloud.
The next cloud shows support for attributes (colors in this case) before we move on to a scanned part on which some plane recognition operations are performed.
The last cloud is a 1.15 billion points Lidar scan of the San Andreas fault (courtesy of opentopography.org) through which we will fly to demonstrate the overall efficiency of cloud data access provided by Galaxy.
