oh ok, thanks! ha! i was close enough with my red/blue mix guess (red, which i referred to the "greenwing" cause of their red heads); didn't know the official name until now, so I called them red macaws lol

That's ok! A hybrid macaw is a mix between two or more different subspecies of macaws. For example, a greenwing and a Blue and Gold macaw cross is a Harlequin. If a military macaw and a Blue and Gold macaw have a chick, it's a milligold. The colors on hybrids are amazing!

You are right and I have seen the other Toby who is quite adorable! I wonder if he/she is missing many toes like my Toby is (hence the name Toby)

Since he probably the first of that kind, you should somehow find out to officially call that specific macaw hybrid a fiesta macaw!
