@junkintrunk55 LOL!!!!

@EVHguitarz If they get out to the farms, the farmers have the right to protect their crops. The population became too large, and the resort trapped and sold 350 of them to a lab in PA.
I heard blow guns work great.

I found out that the resort caught and sold 350 of them to a lab in PA. Even they can't stand them.

How do you think that they handled the cold winter we had last year? I know we had some pretty prolonged cold snaps...even though they have fur, do you think that it bothered them any? Have any of the monkeys left the Ocala area, or do they stick around there?

@yankeegurl62 There is little doubt last year's cold winter presented a hardship to the monkeys. However, a kayak trip up the Silver river last January confirmed their survival. My observations suggest no decrease in population, and the families continue to thrive. They all look healthy.
Another kayak/photo trip is planned for later this year, in December, to capture more images. I plan to produce another video to include video clips along with new still closeups.
